We built the directory and the enquiry system ourselves. Every venue page is generated from that venue’s own record, the figures a couple actually decides on: how many guests it seats, how many it sleeps, the minimum stay, the from-price. When a venue’s facts change, every page that uses them changes at once. British Venues is one of the Global Wedding Group’s country collections, which share one engine and keep their own names.

Save as you browse
Tap + Shortlist on any venue. The list is saved on your device and follows you round the site, with a table that compares guests, beds and from-prices side by side.

Send it once
Your email first, then a date, a guest count and a budget: one short form for one venue or the whole list, up to 20 at a time. A receipt naming every venue you asked about lands in your inbox within a minute.

We reply, then introduce you
Within 48 hours you hear back from us with availability and current rates, and we introduce you to each venue directly. Tick the suppliers you would like to hear from and we make those introductions as they join.

Every page is generated from the venue’s record
Capacity, beds, minimum stay, from-price and catering per head are read from one file per venue when the site is built. Figures are never averaged or invented; a venue with no published figure says on request.

Your shortlist stays on your device
Saved venues live in your browser’s own storage, not on our servers. There is nothing to sign up for, and the list is still there when you come back.

One conversation per couple
Each step of an enquiry is one email into our inbox under the same subject, so a couple who types an email and stops is still answered, and nothing is split across threads.

Typos and throwaways are caught first
Before we rely on an address we check its domain can receive mail. A Gmail typo is pointed out so you can fix it; a disposable inbox is dropped quietly; a form filled in under a second and a half is a script, not a couple.

No cookies by default
No advertising pixels, no CAPTCHA, no social trackers. A hidden field catches bots, and analytics, when on, is first-party and optional. The cookie policy is short because there is little to say.

Fast on holiday Wi-Fi
Pages are built ahead of time and served from a global edge network, and photographs are cut for the screen that asks for them, so a phone downloads a fraction of what a desktop does.
