The place

Set afoot the Malvern Hills, Birtsmorton Court offers a completely unique wedding experience for your special day. Whether you are looking for a small, intimate affair besides a roaring log fire or a sing at the top of your voice and dance until your feet hurt extravaganza, Birtsmorton Court can offer the perfect location.

At Birtsmorton Court we have the best range of ceremony options for you to choose from. As a licensed wedding venue for civil ceremonies, they are one of only a handful of Cotswold wedding venues with an actual church on site. There are a wealth of stunning locations to hold blessings and any other ceremony you may wish to have. The church of St. Thomas of Canterbury with St. Peter & St. Paul can be found in the heart of our grounds. You and up to 115 guests can enjoy a Christian ceremony or blessing in this beautifully maintained 14th Century church without any of the hassle of going from place to place. Think stunning stained-glass windows, an organ and organist, a red-carpet aisle and bells which ring out after you’ve tied the knot! The bells chime as you meander through towards the gardens where your drinks and canapes are ready and waiting. With its heavenly white flowers, fountain and pretty pergola, The White Garden is perhaps the most beautiful garden in Worcestershire for a relaxed, outdoor civil ceremony. This garden bursts to life from March onwards and has to be seen to be believed. There’s seating for 80 guests, with additional space for plenty more to stand or, marry outside on either our Top Lawn which sits just outside the White Garden, or on the Lower Lawn near the ancient bridge. Both locations are as romantic as the other with backdrop views of the moat, glorious gardens and historic manor house with unlimited seating available.

The Great Hall is right at the centre of the main moated manor. Dating back to the 13th Century, this spectacular room is filled with character and history. It’s perfectly fitting for such a special occasion and can accommodate up to 80 guests.
